The difference between (CapEx) and (OpEx)
Capital Expenditures (Capex) are the costs spent to acquire long-term fixed assets, and contribute to achieving revenues over the long term, such as the purchase of real estate assets or equipment.
As for Operational Expenses (Opex), are the expenses spent on the daily operations of the company, such as employee wages, rents, consumables, energy costs, maintenance, operation, marketing, advertising, transportation, and others. These expenses are usually considered variable, recurring, and recurring continually in day-to-day operations.
In conclusion, Capex is a capital expenditure and investment in infrastructure, while Opex is a routine day-to-day operating expenditure.
